The Pocket Leaking Scooter. Review on Honda Activa

I have bought a Honda Activa on Nov, 2010. The Showroom executive has told me that it will get 55 to 60 km/ltr. But I got only 30 to 35 km/ltr. I have complained several times and they have not rectified the complaint. Atlast I gave it to anther technician outside service centre. He has shown me that the showroom people has done noting in my scooter.

Airfilter was not removed till 20, 000 Km. Oil level was below MIN level just say 20% remaining. Brakeshoes were not replaced, they (MuthootHonda, Pta, kerala) had simply charging Rs.700 per service. I don't know why they are charging like this. Tyre gets weird after 6000 Kms. They have no responsibilty for servicing. So I humbly request everyone to keep out of taking Honda Activa Scooter. I have asked many Honda Activa owners and they also have getting this mileage (30-35) and facing similar complaints.

Cons;

1.Mileage is less than 35 @ a speed 45-50 Km/hr.

2.Tyre gets weird after 6000 Thousand Kms.

3.Worst Service @ Muthoot Honda Service Centres.

4.Dont take AMC's after free service.

5.After free service, Give the vehicle to a good technician outside service centres.

6.It will empty our pockets if gone for long rides.

7.Think twice before taking this Scooter.

So I personally request to stay away from taking this. I think try another scooters like Suzuki access, TVS Wego, hero maestro..etc.Before tak8ng any vehicle just ask their experience with that vehicles.
