Honda has been calling the activa the reigning'king of scooters' since the last 15 years and they aren't exaggerating sinceit launch in 2000, the scooter has been the top selling scooter in india the honda activa 3G or the third generation is the latest iteration of the popular unisex automatic scooter and though the activa 3Gisn't radically different from the previous model, it does get minor cosmetic update and six new paint schemes to choose from in terms of design, the activa 3G continues with the conservative styling of its predecessors. This Activa is the most selling one, with its 109.2 cc engine, producing 8 BHP and 8.83 NM. It has a ground clearance of 153 m and 5.3 litres of fuel tank. It comes with 3D Activa badges, which resembles the ones being used on the first generation of Activa's. It comes with Honda's CBS which helps in safe braking in panic braking conditions.
It has the best handling power in it. the activa 3G gets a new set of 3D badges and new colour scheme which lend it a premium look. the tail lamp assemly has also been redesign along the lines of the bigger activa 125 scooters, thoygh the instrument cluster and a majority of others components have been carried over from the previous model. the metallic paint has also seen a huge improvement in terms of quality. the activa 3G is powered by the tried and tested 110cc honda Eco technology engine which delivers 8bhp and 8.8Nm of torque through a CVT transmission. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer currently sells almost 2 lakh units of the Activa every month and it currently holds close to 43 per cent market share. Such has been its success that it can be dubbed as the genesis of the current automatic scooter market in India. Despite the fact that the Active has been on sale for so many years it has received only three updates. And today we ride its latest iteration – the Honda Activa 3G.The honda activa 3G available in six colours black, red, blue, grey, white, and brown paint scheme. I am having this scooter from past 5 Year and as per my Review I am describing following points:The king of scooters, here are some of the features that are worth considering
:1: Handling
The Handling is very good as compare to other scooters in this segment. You can easily drive this scooter without any hinderance.
2:Suspension
The suspension of the scooter is not much good with compare to TVS jupiter. You can feel jerks while driving in indian typical roads.
3:Fuel Consumption
This Scooter gives a approx 50-55 Km/Liter Milage in standard conditions which is good as it provides the 110cc engine.
4: Looks
Looks of this scooter is not so cool as compare to the TVS Jupiter. but it provides a significant design as per the Indian audience.
