Weordered a table and chairs in January last year and were told it would take around 6/8 weeks. This was good for us as we needed it for Easter weekend.
We proceeded to paint the kitchen diner and also bought the matching sideboard which was in store for us to take home personally.
Closer to the estimated delivery date we rang numerous times to be told it would be next week, then two weeks and so on and on and on.
It went on for so long it got embarrassing calling as they always said they'd return our call but never did!
Out of the blue in August they rang to say our table was ready if we came in and paid in full. They said the reason it was late was because we hadn't paid in full! What a complete joke! We initially paid a £60 deposit and were told payment of the outstanding balance would need to be paid before delivery, this obviously wasn't a problem as we didn't expect it for free!
I phoned head office and explained that after waiting since January this was unacceptable and what were they willing to do to compensate ie free delivery or a discount. They were very unhelpful and said they might consider it after full payment and delivery and that it may be in the form of a voucher for their store hahaha
Not even a mention of the word SORRY
Apparently the didcot store manager was going to call my husband on the Monday funnily enough the call never came. We were so angry we just left it and put it down to a bad mistake but just gutted we have the sideboard and no table to match
Low and behold the week before Xmas now 12 months later I received a call saying" your tables ready for delivery upon payment" I just laughed and said you joking! Please call my husband as I was working at the time
We haven't heard a word from them since and they still have our £60 deposit!
Worst customer service I have ever come across!
