Most pathetic experience I have ever had! My husband ordered a jewellery combo from Homeshop18 from Xaveri pearls brand. We recieved the product in time however, I was extremely disappointed to see the product. Most of the pieces were extremely fragile, the beads had come off but most importantly the product dint look like a branded item at all.
One they used a name similar sounding meaning instead of Zaveri pearls they call Xaveri pearls. So doesnt strike you that it could be fake. secondly for people living in Mumbai must be familiar of such jewellery pieces being sold on roads and trains for 100 rupees or so. They charge you a premium on that.
Since I could see that it was not the quality I expected, I called them to return the product. They asked us to either wrap it properly and call up their courier service to collect it or you can hand deliver it at the Xaveri pearls office in Kandivali. We live in Mumbai and on the western suburbs so we thought of hand delivering it so that we know for sure it was returned and secondly we werent sure of how to pack it.
When we went there to deliver the pdt, firstly the Xaveri pearls people looked all hassled. They somehow took the package but never gave a receipt challan or anything to that effect. We called HS18 people to tell them that they are not issuing us the challan, only a handwritten note. They said that would do.
Now the real game begins. After that its been a month now and we are still struggling to get the refund. Firstly HS18 people said the challan is not valid and this and that. When we argued that we already told you when we returned it and we were at the Xaveri pearls office, you said this would do, then they ok scan the note and send. V did that, then they said order number is missing. We got fed up, we asked them for Xaveri pearls office number, they were not ready to give that. Finally v managed to get it and call them and argue. After 3 calls they were ready to send the confirmation that they have recd the pdt. Even after that when v called the HS18 people they gave us the same old story that they have not recd. We then spoke to the senior guy at the call centre and he said that the challan has been recd and now it will take another week. Its already 2 weeks and we are yet to recieve the refund amount.
SO ALL YOU PPL OUT THERE BE VERY WARY OF THIS SITE. THEY ARE BIG TIME CHEATERS AND A FRAUD COMPANY. WITH ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS SITE MY BELIEF IS CONFIRMED!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
