I ordered a 4 burner gas stove in Home Shop 18 by seeing their live ad on television. They sent me a DEFECTIVE PIECE WITH A DENT IN ONE SIDE WALL OF THE STOVE. Later when I sent them the scanned copy of the stove they did not solve the problem immediately.
I had to FIGHT FOR SIX LONG MONTHS TO GET A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. They tried TO MAKE ME KEEP THE PRODUCT BY TRYING in many ways saying:
1.get it repaired we will pay later
- WE DO NOT HAVE A REVERSE PICK UP SERVICE IN YOUR PLACE.(THEY DID NOT SPECIFY THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A REVERSE PICK UP SERVICE- AT THE TIME OF ORDER).
Later they asked us to send the product by parcel. By making an excuse of COMPANY POLICIES THEY DID NOT PAY ME THE FULL AMOUNT I SPENT TO SEND THE PRODUCT BACK AS THEY DID NOT HAVE A REVERSE PICK UP SERVICE. THEY HAVE Rs.300/- OF MINE WITH THEM .
ALL THIS TROUBLED ME FOR SIX MONTHS, A HEAD ACHE I RECEIVED BY TRYING TO MAKE IT EASY BY SHOPPING FROM HOME.
