Experience with homeshikari.com. Review on Homeshikari

After looking at various Khata options I finalized to go with homeshikari.com, it sounded very convenient and straight forward online option, up to making the payment it was very straight forward too. But no one contacted me, noone emailed me any queries for a week after the payment.

After realising that I am not going to get the Khata like this, I called the customer care and reminded about the payment I did, this time they emailed me a big list of documents which was anyways available in this group. I scanned all documents and emailed them. Few days after this email I got a new request to fund another 999/- for property tax, Per them Khata can not be done without property tax. I anyways had to pay the tax so I paid 999/- also to homeshikari.

Another week of wait and after few follow up calls I got an email stating the delay is because of election and they will get back to me after election which was a week ahead. Another 10 days of wait I got an email asking for 3, 000/- as miscellaneous (bribe) to get the khata done, they gave me an option to either pay these charges or stop the process..

After checking with few fellow owners (Thanks to jeevendran) I found that Khata is a much simpler and cheaper process. I reverted to homeshikari for options and they said they can't do much here and only option I have is pay this 3000/- I asked them to confirm if this is the last 3000/- rupees of they will ask me another set of miscellaneous expenses later and support guys were not sure.. In fact they were 99% sure that I might have to pay another set of funds because miscellaneous amount may go up or down..

I asked to refund my amount (which they did after small discussion). UPDATE  (16 May 2013) - Mr Sunder (CEO of Homeshikari) contacted me and promised me to take appropriate action. Thank you Mr Sunder for taking such a quick action.
