I purchased this AC going by hype and also believing costly AC will be better product also. Found the plastics(grill etc) of cheapest quality, grill broke within 6 months, gas had to be refilled just after 2 years use and at a 1.5 times cost which I paid to Samsung for its AC, and what a difficult time I had chasing Hitachi people.


My advice will be to avoid a Hitachi product completely.
