I have purchased a Hitachi 2 Door 451 Litre Refrigerator(Model No: Hitachi RV470PND3K-INX) on 17.08.2015. The purchase was made from Hitachi Dealer in Kolkata, Great Eastern. As per the Manufacturer's commitment the product is warranted for one years & service call shall be reverted within 48 Hours.However our Hitachi stopped cooling on 28.04.16 & immediately complaint was lodged with Hitachi with complaint ID 16042809157.
To our utter surprise, they took 4-5 days to attend the call & when they came they did not have correct parts. They went back with a commitment that they will be attending with the correct spare parts immediately. After lot of persuasion, they came again after more than 10 days. To our utter frustration, now they are saying, compressor is not working & need to be replaced.
For last 16 days me & my family is battling with Hitachi Executives for solution but their response to this matter is absolutely shocking to us. Their Team Leader Mr. Amit Dey maintains a no regret approach and is least bothered about the problem we are facing.
I really do not know that when the problem will be solved .The Refrigerator is still under warranty.
