We purchased this Air conditioner and installed it in a room of 10* 10 Feet. The area where it was installed is in Delhi NCR region where the summers are really hot. The temperature ranges from 35 to 46 degree Celsius at the day time.
As per the specification provided by the company, 1 Ton AC should be enough for the room size of 10 feet by 10 feet. But, in the day time the air conditioner was struggling to keep the room cool. If AC is switched ON, even continuously operating for 4 to 5 hours, then also the room temperature came back to normal in 5 minutes after putting it off.
On the sound front also it does not perform well. Whenever there is an auto on or auto off in AC, it produces considerable sounds that can be a problem in the night times.
So, the AC is not as much effective as it should be. I will recommend this product, as it really struggles with a small room.
Note: I would like to mention, there was no escape for the cold air from the room and doors were not opened frequently in between.
