I have purchased WAC Hitachi 1.5 Ton Summer Qc-518HTD-5* along with stabilizer of Rs 35, 350 on dated 5 may 2013.
Everything was going well since 4 years & I am also advices others to purchase the same in between but the problem starts when my ac compressor stop working.
Since 2days I was calling on toll free numbers which are given on my ac remote panel & in revert I am getting reply like "THE NO. YOU CALLING DOES NOT EXIST".
then I found my ac purchased bill in which again local customer care no. Written but unfortunately again it's not working.
After spending 2 days without ac in this hot summer as I don't have any other options on third day I call on toll free no. Which I found from website of Hitachi & it's finally rang to Gujarat.
I registered my complain to change the compressor still the care person said they will charge you Rs 500 to check & visit I said OK.
The Hitachi technicians came & check the ac & they found the same compressor is not working at all along with the rubber part on which ac motor fixed up to make their balancing.
About the charges which they asked to his senior is as below:
COMPRESSOR IS UNDER WARRANTY
VISIT CHARGES RS 500
GAS FILLING CHARGES RS 3500
TRANSPORTATION RS 700
LABOUR CHARGES FOR COMPRESSOR RS 600
RUBBER BUSH FOR MOTOR BALANCE RS 1100 INCLUDING LABOR AGAIN
GRAND TOTAL RS 6400
Then I call to the owner of service center for the charges. Then he reply we do something for you on final bills.
For saving on transportation I bring myself ac to the service station mean while I ask in the open market for gas filling they said Rs 1500 & the rubber part is about 50 RS EACH.
Then I make a call to the customer & ask for the final payment for visit & gas filling. They said it's MAXIMUM RS 2250+Labor charges extra which ask for changing compressor
When I reach to the service center the owner start his rough bill estimation according to our conversation which around Rs 4100(as he assure me for discount after less Rs 3000 gas+Rs 600 Labour+ 500 visit) without Rs 700 transportation as it is done by me &
Rubber bush Rs 1100 is excluded as it is asked by me later on.
After seen the estimation I replies that I had a word with Hitachi customer care & they have told me break up as below:
Gas+visit Rs 2250
Labour as per service center
Rubber part as per service center
Then he quickly change the estimation while saying sir as per you.
Gas+ visit Rs 2250
Labour Rs 600
Rubber part Rs 1100(rubber part is cheap but Labour is expensive)
Grand total Rs 3, 950
After discount sir Rs 3, 700
I have given advance payment Rs 3000
But I think Rs 1100 is extra for 2 tiny rubber pieces.
Note: My motor is perfectly fine n it's working well but the supporting rubber on which Hitachi hold its motor is not fixed up properly.
Do you have any answer for it?
Kindly revert me ASAP for the charges of that supporting rubber for which he they charging Rs 1100.
