HITACHI people are very shameless, highly irresponsible, non customer caring . They are just minting the money, by encashing the brand name. If you are going to purchase an AC, choose any brand, but don't go for HITACHI. This is worst class product with third class services. I am bearing the same for the last 6 months & writing / complaining a lot to company, but all in vain.
It is better to go for Indian brands, as these companies may provide you the good services, but never go for a company like HITACHI, who claims for World's best energy efficient windows AC. It is highly power consuming, as well as no cooling. My 13 years old VOLTAS AC cool more than newly purchased Hitachi Windows AC. I have purchased the new one for power saving only & it totally failed.
