I feel this review is:
It is the one of the biggest dam of Asia ans surrounded by beautiful forest. It is built across the Mahanadi river about 15km from Sambalpur. You can view whole length of the Dam by two opposite towers. 2 dukes spreading over 12 kilometers always enhance the traveling experience. The best time to visit HItakud dam is August- October because the entire area is filled by water is enhance the beauty of the surrounding of Hirakud dam. The closest railway station is Sambalpur junction and nearest airport is raipur in Chittisgarh.
