Today the world has changed quite a bit. and its changing faster earlier there were hardly any serials and now even the name of serial gives one a head ache. if u ever get a chance to see the quality and type of serials few years back then u would know y. todays serial got nothing. its just a joke on our intelligence. but the serials back then were quite meaning full. day by day the standard of creativity is degrading. I m sure few years from now my review would rather be read as a fairy tale then as my opinion cause by then there would be no quality shows on tv.the worst part is that people are going to get used to this!!
ending my unnesecarry and overly pessimist prediction I get back to the point.
year -2027
Once upon a time there was serial called Hip Hip hurray which actually made some sense. it was about a bunch of 12th std school kids and about their life as a group and as individual.The cast of this serial had a magical power which was that they all looked and talked just like normal human beings!!!. but the most amazing part of the serials was that the story was never streched beyond the needed limit.Every one acted quite natural , u see it was a trend back then to act naturally unlike now. but even after all these flaws the serial still worked !!! yes it actually worked. what had happened was that the serial being so real meaning full and everything people actually started liking it (our guess is that perhaps there was nothing melodramatic to watch back then poor people had to do with such stuff!!) few of the boring and stupid people bakc then called the experts of something explained us saying-''its very simple. u see unlike the serials nowerdays this serial actually connected with audience and dealt with common problems of common people!'' too bad the expert couldnt speak english and make us understand what he was trying to say!! but my guess is that what he was saying is that it was a hit just due to fluke.
anyways here is what the legendary serial maker ekta kappor has to say:

whats that? oh it wasnt based on saas bahu !! acha now I remember it was on school kids. yes that was a good serial not as good as mine though. u know I was the one who came up with idea of making the serial but was too busy making kuki so gave it to some one else.

so now u know how tough life without those melodrama, remarriage, rebirth and everything!!
moral of the story: never set ur time machine for ''the good old days'' and start it!!
