When I take my 2 wheeler to fill fuel the guy who fills petrol is a different guy but this changes when I take my 4 wheeler to fill the same fuel. It is amazing to see the difference.
When I take my 2 wheeler, the guy signals to me to remove the fuel tank cap and then asks how much and then fills the pertrol and then he is ready to collect cash/cc he doesn't even try to close the cap of the fuel tank. Nothing wrong in his not doing it (did not someone say we need to help ourselves!) except that things change dramatically when I take my 4 wheeler. The same chap, opens the fuel tank cap, fills petrol after "how much" and then very helpfully closes the petrol tank cap - even without thinking that he is doing something extra! For all this I just pay the price of the fule that went into my tank - nothing extra!
Did anyone experience this? Of is it just me - may be I am being very conscious! Well, after this experience I refuse to allow that chap to close my petrol tank. I do it myself - with the fond hope that he will realise that I am silently protesting his 2 wheeler < 4 wheeler discrimination. No hard feelings. Probably life is just that way.
