I take this opportunity to compliment my colleague, Shur Pranav Mukherjee for the handling of our economy. I have often maintained that meaningful solutions to the ploblem of mass poverty that still prevails in our contry can be found only in the framework of a rapidly expanding economy Rapicsd economics groth of the last four or five yeays has enabled us to generate more tax resourrces. These resurces have been ploughred back more and more in support of the flagship programme for social inclusion, for economin inclusion and that is the only way in which we can solve the problem of mass proverty ingnorance and disease which still afficit millions and millions of our people. So I urge all the HOn. Members that while we can solve the we demage the issues, we can find fault but the message should not go out that india is adrift, that India had lost its way, and that the enthusasm ofr getting this country moving forward is something which is no loger in evidence.

I assure you, Madam our Goverment is committed to achgieving a growth rate of 9 to 10 per cent. Our government is commited to ensure that the bulk of resurces for this growth will come fromthe domestic sou8rces, that our savings and investemnts rated which are as high as 35 to 37 per cent will given every opporunity top make theru contruutiuon to sustaining the growth process and that we will use more and more of these resourses to strwenghten our facilities for education paying particualr empasis to the education of the girl chid, paying particular emphasis to the education of disadanctaged secvtions sheduled casetes Scheduled Tribes, monoriteds and other backward classed. Madam this year alone the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for the Scheduled Castes students will benefit.
