Actually in India there is no true mineral water though everyone calls it that generically. Most of them are bottled drinking water.
Lately I have taken to th Himalyan brand. This is the only mineral water that actually has a pleasant mineral taste and is very smooth to drink.
I will narrate an experience last summer when I was travelling north and was very thirsty. I picked up the standard Bisleri brand and drank it. It did not quench my thirst and did not feel satisfying even though it was nice and cold.
I later picked up a Himalyan and to my surprise it was so refreshing and satisfying!!
They have mmaintained just the right proportion of mineral contents.This does not make it taste too putrid like well water at the same time it imparts just the right flavour.taste to the water and is not as bland as the bottled water in which it is devoid of all minerals. Minerals are also neccesary for the body while drinking water.
Wherever I am I prefer the himalyan as first choice. And yes they do have one of the most stable bottles.l did Not like the bislery which is practically a plastic bag in bottle shape.
