I placed an order for Wharfedale Diamond 10.7 + Marantz SR 5005 + Cables on July 04 2012 from Bangalore. By the end of 9th July 2012, everything was door delivered. AVR came by Bluedart in 2 days, Speakers came via Prakash Roadways and Cables via Prakash Air Freight. The packing multilayered, monsoon proofed and was solid. Speakers came in wooden shell. There was no damage to the goods, the package weren’t ruffled either.
Prior to placing the Order I exchanged over a dozen email and over half a dozen phone calls with Anil. He was very attentive to my needs, patient, very courteous and gave me friendly prices. He didn’t try to SELL anything but suggested configurations based on reasoning. It was a delight talking to him.
Pros:
1) Enabling music enthusiasts to buy good systems with ease.
2) Setting highly competitive price point & infusing customer friendly prices. Bangalore dealers couldn’t even match hifimart’s price.
3) Free, Fast and reliable shipping.
4) Opportunity to discuss in length before making a buy. Seller is also a knowledgeable consultant.
5) Customized pricing based on the configuration chosen.
6) Well-kept website.
7) Overall positive buying experience.
Cons:
1) Good online tracking of shipments is not there yet, but this is not in hifimart’s control.
2) Credit card payments will a welcome feature.
I will be buying more and recommending hifimart to friends and family.
