Hershey makes both Kisses and Hugs, and they both look the same. A tiny triangle of chocolate covered with foil and a tab on the top.
The Company makes all of their products in Oakdale, Ontario Canada. They have been making chocolate products since 1994. The began with making Cocoa
Kisses & Hug
You can tell what is in a kiss by the color of the foil.
Blue is all Milk Chocolate, green is Mint, brown is double fudge, yellow is Dulce de Leche, pale yellow is milk chocolate with almonds, orange is milk chocolate filled with camel, purple is dark chocolate, pink is light chocolate with strawberry cream, off white is layers of vanilla creme and white chocolate, light orange is light chocolate with orange cream and rusty brown is made with layers of double dark chocolate.
Hugs only come in a rich dark chocolate covered in dark brown foil.
I don't like dark chocolate so you know that I don't like the hug and a few kisses.
How I Eat Them
To open them you pull on the tiny tab on top and pull down. This removes the foil, completely, so you won't get any in a tooth that has been filled and hurt your mouth.
Stop for a moment and look at the kiss. Try to imagine the bliss of eating one. Tell your self you must only eat one. Then pop it into your mouth and close your lips. Let the chocolate melt in your mouth. Put your hand back, right now, please, you're not going to eat another kiss, until tomorrow.
Do what I say and not what I do. I'm older than you so I'm allowed to eat a few more.
What They Are Made Of
Milk chocolate, sugar, coco, butter, soy lecithin, corn syrup, artificial flavoring, polyricinoleate, fructose, butter....etc.

Oh goody I get some calcium and iron that my body needs.
My favorite it the new carmel one. There is a thin layer or light chocolate and the rest is filled with the same Carmel than is in Hershey's Carmel Chocolate Bars. How do they get the Carmel inside? If I tell you I know someone bigger than I am will drop a brick on my head, (I saw it in a TV ad, so it must be true! Ha Ha).
For a 200 gram bag I pay $2.00 CAD. The bag I buy has all white or light chocolate kisses. Some are filled and some aren't.
