I Was looking for the Reliable Bikes under 100-110cc commuter segment. In my case the term "Reliable" means my bike should at least come 8+ yrs.In my case Resale Value is also myth. Resale value all depends on Maintainance of Bike and how many kms it completed( Well there are exceptions now because of low quality spare parts and less life engine technologies by some manufacturers). I had 6 bikes in mind:

1) Hero Motocorp Passion Xpro

2) Honda Dream Yuga

3) Mahindra Centuro

4) Honda CB Twister

5) Honda Dream Neo

6) Hero Splendor Pro Gold Special Edition

I skipped Honda Dream Neo only because of Its looks.I m a College going student so obviously looks matters a lot.Dream series Bikes are all Very good

Abt Honda CB twister ...Its engine life factor is less than that of Passion Xpro/Dream Bikes (abt 1.36).... Rear tire is a bit puny.even a slight rainfall will be able to skid the bike like anything....lacks in safety becoz of combination of less weight+thin rear tyre+too much plastic compared to the commuters bikes in this series....half chain case does add to maintanence.even newly Lauched Honda CB Trigger has full chain case...Honda have Understood that I suppose....if u like funky bikes and want to compromise safety and maintainance without compromising Mileage(gd mileage) and Comfort...then this might be ur choice

Abt Mahindra Centuro...looks wise its fantastic and are also loaded with very very good features like find me lamps, parking lights and twin moulded bars ... The long term  reliability , lack of service centers and how good and effective the loaded features will be after couple of years remains the question..even some say that its not that good for city riding (idk ....may be becoz of gear ratio)

So Within the remaining 3 bikes(Yuga, Spl.Pro and Xpro) , I chose to go for Hero Passion Xpro

The Engine Sounds Very good and is tuned very well...looks are very good ...Hero have given it combo looks of old passion plus, New passion pro and Dream yuga...so it looks similar to its Passion siblings...Passion looks are not old...some say that but I dont agree....Sticker jobs is little bit modified....So it looks great in Red, Electric Yellow, Dark Blue and Silver colour..Candy Green colour also looks good on Xpro...Bikini fairing adds to the looks

Performance wise Passion have same engine as that of dream yuga and it has been tuned for good for providing more power and torque...low end torque is good....ride quality and handing is great.

Features such as Trapezoidal Multifocal Headlamps and analog -digital combo speedometer helps us lot....Disc Brakes functions similar to that of Twister ....They are bit good but please do not expect it as good as on 150cc -180cc bikes

Only Disadvantage of this bike is Absence of DC lighting ( idk abt Dream yuga and Twister) but it doesnt matter to that extent all thanks to Multifocal headlamp....all new Bajaj and TVS bikes in this segment have DC lighting....

Safety wise , Maintainence wise..This bike is very good....The weight(116kg) of the byk + Disc Brake + Bigger tyres keeps it ahead of Dream Yuga and Twister .Cheap and Durable Spare parts and service centers all over the the country , Hero helps to keep Passion Xpro ahead....Honda is now approaching to that of Hero in terms of service centers but spare parts are still very costly...

Mileage before 1st servicing was 59kmpl - 62kmpland after 1st servicing It was 64-66kmpl.....Mileage may tend to increase to 70kmpl (not more than that because of weight)after 2nd servicing....dream yuga will have little more mileage as it is abt 8kg lighter than Xpro + HET could give mileage of 72kmpl(not more than that)...

TVS tyres are not that great as that of MRF or CEAT tubeless tyres . they are good...

Note that my review on mileage is based on strict driving.Anyone driving within range of 40-50kmph and sometimes 55 kmph (only if you are in hurry)..Commuter bikes are not meant for speeding, for rough driving, for going above 60kmph etc even its looks sporty.....espesially Twister...My friend have Twister byk...he is a little bit rough driver...Now he is getting headache because of maintainence cost ...same with the case of Splendor Pro Bike......Dont get Mistaken......Remember all bikes( above ones) are very good only if u r riding it within range of 40-50kmph.....
