I have a query. I found some guys saying x bike have lots of power others say y bike have lots of torque. My question revolve around those jargon words POWER AND TORQUE. Assume the following details
Bike Model 1:
Max power : 9 bhp @ 7000 rpm
Max torque : 10.4 NM @ 4000 rpm
Bike Model 2:
Max power : 11 bhp @ 8000 rpm
Max torque : 10.4 NM @ 6000 rpm
Bike Model 3:
Max power : 11.1 bhp @ 8500 rpm
Max torque : 10.6 NM @ 6500 rpm
Bike Model 4:
Max power : 8 bhp @ 6500 rpm
Max torque : 10.5 NM @ 3500 rpm
BIKE 1 AND 4 : ( attains highest torque @ lowest rpm and have minimal power compared to bike 2 and 3 )
BIKE 2 AND 3 : ( attains highest torque @ highest rpm and have maximum power compared to bike 1 and 4 )
Assume All the above four bikes models are under 125 cc category and are manufactured by HERO HONDA.
what is the difference between the bike attains highest torque @ lowest rpm and have minimal power and attains highest torque @ highest rpm and have maximum power ??
WHICH ONE WILL YOU PICK IT UP AND WHY? Which bike will have greater performance? Can anyone explain the pros and cons of Bike1 , 2 , 3, 4? I really appreciate the valuable and trustable comments about Bike 1, 2, 3, 4.
