I took test drive of Super Splendor and felt great difference between my present Splendor and Super Splendor. Super Splendor has very good pickup, no vibrations, very quite, good suspension and disk brake simply superb. Look wise it has no big difference from the Splendor but still the new model has enough difference from previous models in both performance and looks, you can find that difference in no time if you are in touch with bikes regularly.
I can say Super Splendor is much better than Splendor; It has combination of performance and mileage. Three year warranty period is good value addition for this bike. Good color choices.I could not find much of the information about Quantum core engine any where in the broachers but still I have very confidence on this engine since it came out from HH brand.
STYLE : 2/5
Styling was not that good.Its a compromise, there isn’t a single stand out detail or eye-catching angle on this motorcycle. Okay, Hero Honda may have felt the need to retain some sort of visual link to the Splendor to justify the name tag.
ENGINE: 4/5
Quantum Core 4-Stroke OHC, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled, While the power figures aren’t best in class, the way the engine goes about making its power is quite a revelation. Vibrations are a non-issue and the refinement and smoothness of the engine sets a new class benchmark. No matter what the revs, the engine remains calm and unstressed and the strong bottom end torque ensures she pulls hard and strong in any gear and at almost any speed.
PERFORMANCE: 4/5
With just 9.13PS of power to haul 117kg. 7.46sec to get to 60KMPH.
FUEL EFFICIENCY: 5/5
Best in it's class ~75KMPL
I'm happy with my Splendor but there were few times I thought of having more powerful bike, now I have good choice between Splendor and CBZ which is Super splendor which is really superb. Super Splendor is a combination of power, mileage, performance, ok-looks and brand. This bike is a right choice for every day commute on Indian roads. Love to give more details after hands on experience with the Super Splendor. Bye for now.
