Worst Bike & Stupid Customer Service...

I bought my first bike HeroHond Super Spelndour in April 2005. It ran fine for few months. Just after 8 months it petrol consumption has drastically went up & engine started giving sounds. Then I consulted couple of servicing center (HH Authorized) , they have confirmed Engine bore kit has to be changed.


I was bit shocked to hear that..but later they managed to replace it with in warranty. I claimed for bike return & thought of getting a new bike. HH managed just with warranty. Then after it ran ..for 1 year no improvement in petrol consumption.


Very low mileage, big sound while changing from/to 2nd gear. Again just after I had to consult HH servicing center & again they told the same problem "Engine bore kit failed". I called HH customer support & emailed HH for several time. No one has called me back & checked the problem.


Again they replaced the bore in warranty. I was giving my bike for servicing for every 3000 kms. & single hand drive. very little usage of my bike. But again just after 1 yr (after 4 .5 yrs of bike purchase, ) the engine bore again failed. The bike is not in a condition to run.


I have given a compliant to HH on their website. After having several follow up , Servicing center sent a mechanic to visit the bike & they told bike is not in warranty, we can not give you free bore kit.


I told them that I will give my bike & want to take a new bike in exchange ..They offered me 10k .Horrible.


I have complianed to HH saying that the product manufactured with defects. After having several follow ups HH Customer service person contacted me. Instead of looking for product defect..he was identifying my mistakes (delay in servicing, where I am filling my petrol, How I am driving my bike)..


I just bashed that idiot & told him to check the product first instead of escaping from the situation. He told that I can't claim under warranty as I delayed serving in between (some times 500 kms).


The funniest answer he gave is " What is reason to get back to Customer Emails..we are busy with serveral queries..& we can not get back to customer emails ". The worst customer service experience that I ever had.


Servicing center clearly accepting that its problem with Bike Model (in my case it purely manufacturing defect). But HH does not accept it as manufacturing defect ..instead throwing issue on to Customers & trying to escape the situation. So Branded bullshits.


I told them that I am ready to pay from my packet for the Bore kit change..I just wanted them to give a confirmation like the bore kit wont fail with in next one year.


They don't want to do that & they told like we can only give it for 6 months (even a limited warranty). Bloody customer care..poor service quality.


Guys ...I sincerely advise you to never buy Hero Hond products. Go for Honda..as the core technology provided by Hond to HH.


So now Hond is no more with HH ..so they are zeros. Buying HH bike at your own risk.
