Hello all people this happens to be my first review hope you like it please dont forget comments at the end :)
Coming back to the point ! Splendor happens to be a very good bike.
I started using my splendor from 1st Jan 2002 and till date I use it BUT I also bought a PULSAR on 2nd June 2003 , there will be a review on pulsar in the pulsar section laterz.Coming back to the point used my splendor for about 1 year and 7months till now and done 12000kms ! till date .
I have used my bike for mainly city as well as out station used . Trips like Mumbai - Pune , Mumbai - Lonavala , Mumbai - Mahableshwar are some of the trips I have done so far on the splendor. An average person would surely like buying the splendor itself as it is very very fuel efficient and its a best bike for a begineer. If a new driver is given a cbz or a pulsar right away he is gonna have lotsa problems in traffic .
Splendor is really cool no handling problems. Nice and Light also. One can expect about 55-60 km/litre when the bike is new but the fuel efficiency will eventually drop as the bike gets old like it drop in and around the 50 mark. On the highway ofcourse it will go more than 50-55.
Well lets come to the main topic. MAINTENANCE ! Well people there is seriosly nothing like maintenance in a splendor.
Speed is also not that much a concern . One can easily ride a splendor till about 80-85km.hr
