My wife and me rode around for a week on a hired Splendor in Goa. I’m not overweight but I found the seat too narrow for my backside. I could not ride for more than a couple of hours at
a stretch.
And I spent the next day chilling in the hotel with a sore backside.
The headlight is too dim for highways. Its okay for cities since you have street lighting.
Other things are fine - mileage, pickup etc are all what you expect from any bike. It starts first kick every time, does not pollute much.
I didnt look too closely but it seems the Munjals (company promoters) decided to fix a fake double tube engine cradle which was absent in the original CD 100’s. Or perhaps its real. Doesnt matter anyway.
This bike is only just better than a TVS Victor which I found extremely unstable on the hills of Ooty.
Anyway it has no status value. Zero exclusivity. Zero riding pleasure. Every clerk and his brother have one. And they all buy black color. I wonder why.
Like I said if you’re a skinny, stingy guy with 3 kids and a wife to feed you could buy one. But if you want to get lucky with them women you need a Yezdi Roadking.
