I am a student of medicine.I am craze of bikes and I want to say something about SPLENDOR+ .I own one and I am saying from my experience of 7 years of bike riding. Look:this bike has an average look.Look can be improved if the carrier in the back is removed and cover the remaining steel part with leather upholstery.put medium size tyres on back(can reduce the milage marginally).
Milage:it gives me 80+ in average road and traffic.as all u know best milage is b/w 40-50km/h.always move in a constant speed say 50km/h. If u are buying a new bike strictly ride below 45km/h till 1000km.after that gradually tame your bike by increasing 5km/day. Dont jump directly to 60 or 70.dont accelerate engine very quickly.if you follow this 80+ is garunteed!
Handling: very good control.good road grip.smooth running . smoothness even at 70km/h(much enough for an average Indian).you can feel small vibration at 50 km/h in the initial few kms. Dont worry it will pass off after 2000kms. Power and pick up:a bit less satisfactory .but at 80+ milage it is ok. On high ways you have to overtake using only the speed factor.
Braking:very good below 60km/h.Use both breaks.apply- release – apply…Safe speed: don’t go above 70 km/h. Comfort:you can drive it all day long if seated at the dimple provided in the seat.this can neutralize some shocks through your hands.
Special points:
.when engine is stopped .remember to off the fuel.(flooded engine refuses to start)
. never use accelerator when starting a hot engine.otherwise use it only minimally.
.every weekend check tyre pressure(very imp)
.give a Teflon coat
.use only plain water on Teflon parts(no soap or detergent)
.please never park the vehicle under direct sun.(your bike will age in one month)
.LOVE YOUR BIKE, IT WILL LOVE YOU BACK(LAW OF NATURE)
