Hi All, I’m Sambhu and I’ve been riding this scooter for the past one year. The scooter originally belongs to my sis but it was me who was using it at large. And when I say “I’m using it at large” I mean to say that I’ve really been using it at LARGE.

Ever thought about taking a 102cc, 7bhp scooter for long rides, cruising through high ways? When I say long rides, I mean taking it for rides of over 1000 kms! Sounds crazy, isn’t it? But YES! I’ve dared to do that. All my friends laughed at me when I proposed to do this. They said this small scooter, which they mockingly called a “SCOOTY”, wouldn’t stand all that. They said it was alright only if it were at least a Splendor. And that gave me the confidence ‘coz little did anyone realize that the heart(engine) throbbing at the centre of both Splendor and Pleasure are the same. In fact Pleasure has an engine which is slightly upgraded to 102cc from its parent engine which is 97cc. And if Splendor can do it then why not Pleasure? After all as the tag-line of this brand says “Why should boys have all the fun?”. And so I decided to take this beauty(I mean it. I love how it looks) for a really-really long ride.

My starting point was Bangalore and my destination was Trivandrum which is around 850+ kms away. Of course it was not one long single stretch of adventure. I planned it well. I stayed over at Coimbatore for a night which is 400 kms from Bangalore towards Trivandrum and resumed my journey. And I made sure not to over stress this little girl by giving it regular breaks after every 50 or 60 kms. From Coimbatore my girlfriend also joined me to Trivandrum.

Let me take you through some info.

The scooter gave a mileage of 45 to 50 on highways. The pillion seat was not comfortable enough. The ride quality was THE BEST. Not the best suspension for ‘long trips’. Engine was very smooth. Really good brakes. Good pick-up and descent acceleration – the needle touched 80+ in highways. 400 kms(Bangalore – Coimbatore) in 9 hrs and 450 kms(Coimbatore - Trivandrum) in 10 hrs.

Now my friends dare don’t call it a SCOOTY anymore(note: I’ve no prejudice against Scooty. I know it’s one of the best). They’re planning to nominate this Scooter to either Guinness Book(or) Ripley’s Believe it or Not.

Jokes apart… I wouldn’t suggest you to look forward to this scooter for such crazy adventure. Not because it can’t stand it. Come-on, this is not one designed for that and I’d rather respect it. But for city drives I wouldn’t have to think twice to suggest this as THE BEST. I left to exclaim “Pleasure ho ya Jadoo!”
