I bough a Red Pleasure for my wife in October 2008. My decision of course was based on my wife's liking for its looks and the Hero Honda brand. The reviews in mouthshut did help to choose between honda activa, Suzuki Access and TVS scooty. I havent totally regretted my decision yet.
Looks apart, the ride is smooth, the bike easy to handle and has a good pickup. Mileage has been steadily rising for city drive to except able 42 - 44 KM/L after the first service.
The bike though is on heavier side(heavier than TVS Scooty but lighter than Activa) but is easily maneuverable by even small built ladies and stable on road.
Brakes are average, I would have liked it softer, the break hand levers seem to be designed for men not women.you need to have big hands to handle them. Rear view mirrors are not apt for taller women and certainly not for tall men.
The electronic auto start works great, the manual start pedals are placed in inaccesible region and its awkward to use. The start pedals seem to be of bad quality and has already started to rust.
The biggest flaw I felt was the suspension, its bad, even small bumps give you a shudder. If you are prone to backache or any joint related problems, its may aggravate.
The suspension hits rock bottom if 2 adults are travelling. Indicator switches, Beam Up/Down switches havent been designed ergonomically. The panel with its black plastic look is distasteful.
Dealer service has been good, I would suggest this vehicle for looks, smooth ride(on good roads) and mileage. Pleasure is still the best choice for ladies, but if you need to share your vehicle with your wife, like I do, you can consider Suzuki Access.
