Hi guys! It happens with everyone, when we decided to buy a new bike then question comes in mind which is the best in market. we comparing the features like style, fuel efficiency, comfort, durability and off course reliability. If u in same confusion, then I have answers for all ur queries and I m giving u my feedback about my tiger ?Hero Honda Passion?. I feel I m very lucky coz at the time of decision making I was not confused which one to buy, coz I already know from some reliable sources that now the days, only HERO HONDA bikes r made for trust only, otherwise people look for racing and extra style must go for BAJAJ PULSER.

I have taken the delivery of bike from Charisma Goldwheels in Industrial Area, Chandigarh in September, 2003. Till the time I have never faced any problem. The problem most often comes in bikes are Average, Chain loose, noise, shockers leakage, Speedo Meter, Head lamps etc. But thank god and touch wood I didn?t face any of above mentioned problems in my bike. Still it is running without spending 1 paisa on it. HERO HONDA proves the punch line ?FILL IT, SHUT IT, FORGET IT?.

People saying that PASSION will give u only 50-55 k.m. per litre, but there is nothing like this. Its all depend on ur driving habbits. I got 70k.m. per litre from my bike at the speed of 50k.m per hr. I have no need to change the gear and use the brakes again and again. And u?ll see the enjoy of riding the PASSION in a slow speed is more enjoyable then fast speed. Some times if u need than it can runs at the speed of 80k.m per hr. PASSION will never say no to you. PASSION gives u very smooth riding like a scooter, otherwise I have also tried the BAJAJ caliber which is not comfortable in city areas, coz of gear changing and chain loosing every week. If u see the PULSER, then u find Handle is too much heavy and hard, not comfortable in tight city areas and streets. But HERO HONDA is running like a Bicycle, smooth and comfortable handle. I like the sweet voice of Honda bikes.

Let me tell u some tips for driving to get the maximum from ur bike ?

  1. Run ur bike at a slow and steady speed (between 40-50). I have seen the fast riders, they driving fast, but breaking and gear changing gives them less average from their bikes. And we know the story ?SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE?. There is not much difference in time when we run fast in city areas.

  2. Don?t race ur engine in idle condition or halt on Red Lights.

  3. Don?t run ur bike at once when u kick start after 2-3 hrs., wait for 2-3 mins, so that oil flows in all parts.

  4. Check the chain tension after every month, depends on ur driving path, if u driving more than 50k.m in a day, then check the chain adjustment after every week.

  5. Replace the Engine oil after every 2000 k.m.

The bike is superbly designed and really invoked feelings of awe in me. It just oozes style immensely. At the heart of the entire styling is that headlamp unit. Believe me!! I suggest people to buy this vehicle just for the headlamp unit. As of colours, I love the?Blue Passion?. I got BLAZE BLUE colour, not that JATKU type colour of like TVS VICTOR. Definitely the bike is commendably strong with double downtube chassis and?.. Hey wait!! To be honest there is not much difference between its older brother, Splendor. So as in Splendor, the suspension is really great. But the riding comfort maybe described as good, not excellent.

In my opinion, and in many others too, there is not much difference between the Splendor and Passion. The entire engine block of Splendor has been lifted out and plonked into this bike. So the pickup is really the same. A 99 cc engine can only trigger your passion for a sedate ride and not for that needed punch. I felt the vehicle is a bit too heavy and this really decreases the riding comfort. To an extent, I would prefer my splendor to this on this count.

Mileage. This is one thing that an average Indian rider expects from a vehicle normally, more than anything else. In his opinion a good bike is one, which is both reliable and fuel-efficient. Unlike its older brother, Splendor ( the middle-class people?s saviour), Passion turns down all expectations.

So, this bike impressed me with those stylish looks, strength, suspensions, handling ease and reliability, but disappointed me weaker brakes (disk brakes are a must). Someone who is looking for a sexy bike, does not have enough dough, wants performance of the Hero Honda fame can certainly go for Passion. A 4-stroker with 7.4 bhp doesn?t provide that kick, but makes a real mark with the looks. Afterall, people fall for looks isn?t it?

Triggering one and all?s passion with its styling, the Hero Honda Passion is certainly on course of a best-seller in many a people?s opinion. If you take my consent then you can certainly go for it. Sorry, not ?can?, make it ?should?. That is because it has many an ace up its sleeve and very few disappointments. These are my personal opinions and if any one of you have to say something then you are most welcome in the comments section. Thanks for reading.
