I bought my Passion pro on Jan 2012.Initially, it gave 50-55 Km/Litre. After 8 months the self starter was not working.After crossing 13000 km the speedometer was stopped and I have given my bike to hero service center in Kilpauk.


It was bad experience with them i.e after my free services were over I have given for service with the complaints like speedometer not working, Electric starter not working, adjusting the left mirror and with some minor problems like adjusting the chain.They have  estimated Rs 1500 and I was really shocked on hearing this.


I asked them why they are charging this much amount and they told me that we will change the oil(Rs 370) and for service Rs 400.I told them it is too much, the contact person convinced me and I agreed for the service.They told me that I can get the bike in the evening 6.30 to 7.30.


Mean time, I got phone call from the service center and they told me that the battery is not working and it will cost around  Rs1500, so that they can check the speedometer is working or not. I told them I don't want the self starter to work and asked them to repair the speedometer.


I phoned them in the evening and asked them whether the service is over or not they told me that I can take the bike the next day.When I went there to take my bike they charged me around  Rs 1140 and I have checked my speedometer was not working.


I asked the service boy in the service center I already reported that my speedometer is not working and why didn't you solved the problem?


The service boy told me that the battery is not working so we didn't checked the speedometer .I asked them how Indicator and horn are working without the battery.


After 15 minutes conversation the service boy told me that he will check and let me know .After 10 minutes he told me that the speedometer cable is broken and asked me to purchase from the shop inside the service center.


I was really shocked and there is no stack available at the time and finally they told me to come  after 2 days. They took around 2 days to service my bike and charged around Rs.1140 without solving the speedometer issue.


It was my bad experience with them and after two days I went there and paid for the cable i.e Rs 24  and get back my bike.


Last service, also I had bad experience like this .At that time it was 6th free service, I have complained about the electric starter and they didn't solve that issue and they told me that you come on another day for this.


After that I would not be able to go there until my next service.


At least, if they told the problem last time, I have the warranty period for 1.8 year I can replace the battery.


So my kind advice is don't go for passion pro and you can purchase any other bike.


Mileage also not good and pick up is worst.
