Hero Honda was once very well renowned for its great bikes and good value for money bikes. Keeping this in mind I went for my first bike and bought a Hero Honda Passion BLACK GREY Pro - 2011 Model and bought it in Jun-2011. It cost me 58K On-Road. In Bengaluru. I was a beginner and so this bike was very suitable with its user-friendly transmission system. I had no problems in learning the gear pattern and I got adjusted to the bike. But, problems started to occur when I started to ride the bike with a pillion behind. In Bengaluru's heavy traffic, with its very low pulling torque 8.04 Nm @ 4500rpm, I had to face so many problems. It was 97.2cc, and 7.6BHP engine. I used to feel like I am carrying the person on my shoulders when someone sat at the back. It was sad. For every hump on the road I was forced to drop down to 1st/2nd Gears to get the acceleration or the bike wouldn't pull & would stop!

Bcoz of this constant shifting of gears, I used to get a overall mileage of 40-44 ONLY! That is a real disaster for a 100CC Bike! At least we would expect a mileage of 60KMPL!

Also, the brakes were useless/worthless! They were meant to only reduce the speed and on applying full brake also, the bike would stop after 20 meters!

I met with 4 accidents all 4, I guess were because of low braking!

Looks wise, most of my friends commented it as an UNCLE's bike! And few times when I went to trips with friends I was the one left behind among the group, though there were no 150CC bikes in the pack! I felt disappointed and started to feel I need to get rid of this bike! From day-1 Hero Honda P-Pro proved to be uneconomical! So, got rid of the trash FINALLY in March-2012!

Heard that, after Hero & Honda split Hero Moto have come up with Impulse and Ignitor! Also heard that they are copied version of Honda's NXR-150 and Stunner resp., Well thats a real shame on part of a brand that will very soon go down from the number 1 spot!
