HI Guys, I am now proud owner of passion plus for last 3 years...... This is the one bike to which I attracted 1st bcoz of looks ( dont compare with higere cc bikes, in 2005 it was having the best looks) and also the reliablity of Hero Honda on thier 100 cc bikes( PP is precisely 98 cc bike).
But that was only infactuation and assumption of which this bike was bought. But 3 years on with 30000 kms clocked on the bike, I fgeek I've taken the best decision of my life in making the highest expenditure till (That) date. Initially I hasd some problems of cold start but it was rectified with 3 services. Since then I have no spent Rs Zero on maintainance of bike except Consumables like oil and brake shoes. Even I have not changes the tyres and battery.
Now lets see the driving features........ Passion is extremely comfortable in long drives ( upto 150 km at a strecth) ..gives no sound and can touch the Top speed to 85 km/hr but one cant maintain these sppeds as braking system in conventional and moreover bike start shaking with that speed. But On higways and clear roads speeed of 70kmph can be easily maintained. The fuel economy hovers around 55-60 kmpl . Its a city average, in case one drives more in cities only.
I am in sales and has to drive a lot within and outskirts of bike and quiet often with a pillion. But a never felt any discomfort or problem in handling of the bike .
As Hero Honda supposedly use the same engine as of splendour the performance of bike was never a question but it also has a style which is missing in 100 cc other variants.
Now with 100 cc sheen is fading away and market is being capturesd by 125/150 cc bikes, but I still feel if one is going for 100 cc bike with recurring cost and fuel economy in mind, this is the best product to go for.
