Passion plus- A long trip.. Review on Hero Honda Passion Plus

I am a proud owner of Passion plus since aug.2007. I have done nearly 315 kms in a day.. On aug 30th 2008, me & my friend Hari started to Arabian sea coast from Coimbatore which is abt 155 kms.. Sharply started at 6am & our first stop was near palakkad for tea break..

Then again started our journey by 7.15am & our next stop was near Thrissur a place called Kuthiranmala, a small hilly region & it was very sceneric.. Next halted at Trichur & had our breakfast.. Our bike engine was in a very hot condition.. Somehow started from there & proceeded to Guruvayoor By 9.30am.. Reached Guruvayoor by 10.30. (The distance from trichur was some 25 kms only.

But took nearly 1 hr due to many ups & downs & horrible threatening drive in Kerala..) Came from temple by 12 pm & went to our final destination Arabian sea coast which is 6kms from temple.. Then started to Coimbatore by 3pm & came home by 8pm..Now coming to the perfomance of the bike during this trip..

• In highways its perfomance was awesome & able to maintain 60-70km/hr.. But in slopes it suffers to climb with a pillion rider.. * Headlight is a big headache which made our journey little risky during night hrs.. Braking should also be improved a little.. Engine gets heated very quickly especially in hot atmosphere & its perfomance slightly lags & it needs atlest 20 mins rest..

Besides some negative points My bike has given me a maximum mileage of 90 km for 1.13 litres of petrol in city...(Its true!!!). Passion plus rocks everywhere mainly because of its excellent mileage...  Passion plus have greatly replaced Splendor.... One main drawback is that with 2 persons, the pick up is sluggish... but once it crosses 40 kmph it goes on even upto 90 kmph... So quick overtaking is tricky in highways with pillion rider...
