The only things unbeatable: Pickup- marginally a 1 second less than the Pulsar. But whats the use. Are you taking part in some gp qualifying. Or if you are in a hurry to reach some place at such a sharp and precise time of 2 seconds. The upper body does not go with the engine, you can actually see gaps, wherein the Pulsar looks a fully loaded hunk. It looks like as if a Mercedes body has been fitted on an Esteem chassis. The bulge only look good when viewed from the front. All portions of the bike look good only when viewed individually and don't go alongwith each other. Overall in terms of appearance, the Karizma doesn't impress me much About the indicators, the digital speedo once it goes faulty will cost you Rs.5,000/-. Keep your wallets ready when the rains come. Mileage is very poor. Price is too high, compare that to the Pulsar DTSI, you get a difference of 25k. The Pulsar matches neck to neck with the Karizma in feature and the biggest thing is that it is practical. Imagine you crashed on a Pulsar, got your fairing damaged, as it is an individual unit, you would pay only for the fairing. Do that on the Karizma and think of the cost of rectifying, you will have to change the whole frontal unit. The only plus point is the power, for which you have to sacrifice another 25k :( A person with common sense won't go for it, so wont I.
