.The only India made bike to sport an engine of more than 200cc.Do u know what does this means?This means...JET SET & GO!
Hero honda karizma have no comparison. regarding the cons they r all useless.
CONS AND CONTRADICTIONS:
1) Fixed headlight: Its nowhere a problem.. all those who says are saying keeping ADRENO in mind but the headlight is totally different.Whosoever says this I will suggest him to take a night test drive all his/her illusions will become invisible.Karizma spreads in a 72 degree conical spread and that too so strong. even if you are going on a straight road you will be having a clear view in a V shaped from the front end of your tyre. World famous sports bike have fixed lights as karizma is having. its to reduce the load directly on handle and to keep light in position whenever bike travels on steep or face a potholes coz shocker moves more without disturbing the head light ensuring more clear and unblurred view in night. Non technically speaking its a fault but technically speaking its advantageous. company opted for that being aware of that its going to reduce our sales but still customer satisfaction is first and that we called product for price.
2) Need more maintainace: its a myth. it need more maintainance because everyone like power and moment you will be on that bike you will love driving it around 100 and you will be feeling so secure that you will be applying brakes at dead end that what usually happens with cbz disc its nowhere more maintainance but still less then what a rider do with the bike.
3) Thin rear tyre: Forget it its having the best grip on the road. Bike is damn steady at 120 km/hr and light focussed on road is ultimate. Take a test drive on a highway u will come to know.
4) Digital metre: What it is used for..???? such a sluggish question.. its simple technology when engine is having advanced microprocessor then why can't metres be digital. its simple advancement. switching to digital metres and then to computerized managad metres sensorrs etc. Metre will not work long...and will be off in months!!!! sorry pal its having a two year replacement warranty. How beautiful they look and the way they functions.
5) Clock:what it is for???? again a sluggish question...
whenever you will stop at a red light you don't have to look at your wrist watch or you don't need to take out your cellphone if you r not wearing that watch.it will keep you synchronized u can measure the time of journey the stopage time. its having a small advantage but atleast its nowhere a disadvantage.
6) Price and average: BMW roadster comes above 50 lakh and runs around 6km/litre
if you need average purchase a cd 100 thats also from hero honda.its not the matter of discussion its matter of love for product and affordability. its nowhere a status symbol if I can afford a bike its my desire,my passion. Simply asking u the day you will have money to afford honda-1000 and you have that desire you will simply go and get it.otherwise comes so many bluffs.Truely speaking I am poor and I can't afford mercedes,jaquar,bmw,ferrari and they are useless expensive uneconomical and so many more such reasons but d day I will have money to afford I will say wow.
Still karizma avg varies b/w 25 to 40 km/litre depend on way u drive and on conditions of drive.
Compare it with eliminator......
Is eliminator worth its price tag.....
Ferrari sports and mercedes S class comes at same price tag which one is best for long run? no other options than S class.
