Hello friends, I'm in here after a long time. Though I'm not and I haven't bought Karizma, I experienced it from my cousin who recently got a new zma.


Now considering its fall of price to almost abt 10-12k its cmin under 73k onroad. Now that makes it a better one to go for.


Talking abt its power its 223cc, 17bhp engine definately roars on indian roads but fails to make it to the 250cc sports bike as twas much talked to b a sports bike.


Regarding its speed its gud for indian conditions, quite fast (arnd 136 kmph, speedo read) but I suppose it wud have gone upto somthing like 160-170 kmph to b called a 223cc bike.


Never d less, wen I went for my 1st ride it reached 40 kph in no time (actually) within d 2nd shift. It is much comfortable in 100 kph. definitely the quickest bike so far launched in india. Even Bullet Enfields here dont catch its speed though d carry a mountain with 350 cc machine inside. Regarding comfortness, I found it 2 b d smoothest bike in any speed in india.


It never regrets any speed let it b beyond 100-110 kmph. There is no vibration or excess noise. Well in this case I wud give it 5 stars. Looks. Definitely kills, the maroon, black and ash silver zma's just look stunning. Something 2 b watched when passes from ur side. Just gr8.


Its sport fairing gives out the look of a sports bike. Now comes some cons,


Fuel efficiency: Now this is a confusion 2 b quarelled abt. Experiences start from 25kmpl to 40 kmpl. As for this 32-35kmpl is sufficient. It varies with riding conditions.


Generally we hear somewhere around 35 kmpl for this which is quite comfy with a 223cc bike. Compare wit pulsar 180 dts-i: Surely zma is the quicker of the 2(in both pickup n top speed), looks different in catogary(puls is an executive looking muscular bike where zma is sporty looking bike), has more power with obvious less milleage.


Thus it cannot be compared with pulsar as its totally diff in class. Compare with Thunderbird: Earlier I blamed zma for posting such high prices with lesser milleage of 25kpl and equivalant speed to d bullets. I would have never gone for zma with enfields and coz thunder is my dream bike.


Later on I realised it had lots more pickup and top speed than enfields, fuel almost equivalant or more if driven carefully and prices slashed to 69k ex-showroom. And looks always favouring if u like a sporty look (not applied if u like cruiser looks).


And it comes with hell lotsa in-built features which no other bike has yet. Now if given an option I would go for zma.


Compare with Comet: Sorry, im yet to know much abt comet. Summing up all, I would recommend karizma (zma) to you if u r really concerned abt power and not worried much abt money. So far at that price, zma would give the best experience in power ride.
