Using this bike for three months now and I am glad that I've chosen wisely to buy Hero Honda Hunk

I am a big fan of Yamaha products.

When I decided to replace my old bike with a new one the immediate choice was Yamaha FZ or Fazer. Later on second thought I went to details of after sale service, spares and cost of spares. Yamaha let me own on the cost of spares and availability. Also the cost of the bike is unnecessarily higher.

My second choice went to much hyped Pulsar. But I always hated the ride quality of Pulsar. To me the bike must be under our control and not the vice-versa. With low turning radius and too much handling pressure the Pulsar was out of my league.  Also the life of Pulsar is for 1 to 1.5 years of regular usage. After that it indirectly asks you to replace it by giving all kinds of malfunctions. This is not my opinion but opinion of people using Pulsar for years and Bike mechanics.

Now came Apache RTR. This is absolutely the best bike when it comes to performance and Handling. The thing which let me down is the Design which many liked but me and Tyres. TVS tyres is best known for their low quality and I do not wish to replace to good quality tyres immediate after buying a new bike.

I found the spares availability is lower and cost is high.

The I searched in Honda and again stuck with high spares price and not so great designs.

Hero Honda I looked in to karizma and CBZ. CBZ is old pal and old name.

One day I saw a HH Hunk when I was travelling and that bike made me turn my head again and again to it's side. As like in movies I immediately fell in love with it. None of my friends has a HH Hunk and this gave a point higher to choose this bike as I will be unique in my group.

I went on internet research and spoke to some mechanics. Found many mechanics do not know in detail about Hunk as it do not visit mechanics for any kind of trouble. Some friends asked why I am going for hunk and complained about it. When I asked for details they seem to know nothing about the bike and even not ridden it. All I found is the gear problem which many may find harder compared to few others.

I went ahead and booked Blazing RED Hunk with rear Disk brake, standard tubeless tyres and usual standard fittings. Got the bike three months back and I must admit it is the best bike for price range of 75K. Very good handling and high pickup. I can easily beat 150cc Pulsars on the road, traffic roads in particular. Pillion rider feels at ease as the seats are higher and rear GRS suspension gives much comfort. Also noticed that everyone on the road takes another look at this bike when in Traffic, Blazing Red in particular. Build quality is solid compared to other Bikes in it's segment. Led tail light and Semi digital console is very good. Gear shifting problem has reduced after two service and service guy says the problem will be gone after regular usage which I find it true. The disk brake is not as immediate as in Pulsar. The Pulsar disk brake locks the wheels immediate and makes you skid and fall for your fate. The HH Hunk disk is carefully designed to avoid such incidents. It gets much better with rear disk brakes instead of drum. Getting average fuel efficiency of around 50Kmpl if you ride it around 55Kmph

Ride it to believe it.
