Recently, I had purchased Glamour from Phoenix show room, Madhapur, Hyderabad.
Initially I had taken the quotation from 3 showrooms out of all Bhanu Motors only quoted less i.e. they agreed to give for 67000 only. Whereas Phonenix is unnecessarily quoting 68, 800/- and when I showed Bhanu Motors quotation they had offered almost the same price what Bhanu motors quoted.
The real price in Hyderabad city is 67200/- if you are wise customer. This about sales and coming to the review. Till date I have completed 800 kilometers and observed the pros and cons of the vehicle.
Also, I had test rided TVS Phoenix(Digital console is good but engine is not good as per other TVS customers), Discover 125T(good choice but comprise on over maintenance after 2 yrs and poor resale), Shine(No digital console and costs too much in this 125 CC segment 70, 000).
Finally, opted to buy Hero Glamour, again proved my choice wrong.
PROS:
Good bike handling and similar to Shine.
Looks are much fine compared to Shine.
Digital and analog meter combination is not there in Shine.
CONS
1.Gear Shifting is pathetic. Still same problem after second service.
- Seating, rear Shock observers are very hard. Pron to get back ache if you are using for more than 30 mins.
3.Suddenly stops in the middle of the traffic and informed the same to showroom mechanic immediately, he tried to adjust the idling but no much difference and told will be cleared after 4.service. No difference after 1st service also.
5.Lighting is not much great compared to Shine.
6.Engine noisy & not good even compare to old CBZ extreme 2010/11 model or Passion+
7.After crossing 70-75 there is shake and more engine vibrations.
8.Poor free service by Hero authorized service stations only oil change and water service.
9.Already, Honda closed the contract with Hero and tied with Motocop and all the new vehicles are not clicking in the market. There will be down in resale.
Finally, I can say Shine is very good vehicle except the chain problem where you need to change the chain and spokets which cost 800-900 Rs after 15000 kms and initial cost difference b/w Shine and Glamour 2500 to 3000/-.
Hero Glamour - All that glitters is not gold.
