I had made it a point to write a review for this bike after 2 years. I bought my bike on Oct 8th, 2007 from Millenium motors, Bangalore (its at inner ring rode, kormangala) .I had read a lot of reviews before buying this bike. let me write on each topic as per my experience-

  1. Looks: I think the looks are good, especially teh tail light is awesome (the best in any bike). I also liked pulsar and unicorn, but the height and the built attracted me.

  2. comfort and control- the bike is v comfortavble to sit, (better than pulsar, I feel), but if you drive for some time you will feel soem pressure on your wrists. Any person riding this bike for first time can make it out. after a few weeks I became used to it. the pillion seat is v high, if you are sitting at the pillion , you feel as if you are sitting quite higher than other bike riders on the road. It feels good..also it's handling and control is awesome (i found it better than pulsar and unicorn). Because of the height of the bike you may find it difficult in handling on twists and turns or on slippery roads or during rain. you may fall with the bike ( I fell twice.. :))

3.The gear: some people may not like the sporty one sided gear (all my frnds and my bro dont like it), but I learned drving bike using my toes only for chnaging gear, so it wasnt a problem fro me.. but I have seen many ppl feel uncomfotable using only teh toes.. they say it spoils the shoes, , but for me it hasn't.

  1. Mileage: I have getting the Mileage of 52 to 57. It depends v much upon 2 things- which petrol is being used and how you are driving. My experience (also after I reda a review in mouthshut), indian oil is the worst petrol, you will get least mileage with IO. Please go for shell, if it is not in your town go for bharat petroleum, if BP is not there go for HP. , with indian oil I got an average of 40. my frnds wonder how I am getting such a good mileage. Also pls drive sensibly, driving between 40 and 60 KMPH with petrol from BP will give you a v good mileage. I can understand in city like bangalore, the traffic conditions spoil the mileage of your bike (driving on low gears for long also affects it).

  2. Maintenance: there had been a few issues with maintebnance. the screws and nuts at some places in the bike were not tight enough to stay in tact. the nut from the gear, I dont know when it became loose and I lost it on on road, same with crash guard nuts, the ones at the silencer have becoem loose recently and it makes noise if not tightened. the rear brakes had become loose in 2 montsh. the gears used to become less smooth but with every service it became smooth again. for the first 4 free service I gave my bike to Nikhi motors, sada shiva nagar.

They do v good serviing and I never had a complain. I woudl adive to check teh petrol tank level before and after giving for service as it is common at some service station in blore that they remove soem petrol from your bike. it has happened with my friends. the remaining services were done at delhi - I didnt had any complain with serviing here also. but one of the front wheel shocker oil was leaking before my 7th service. I got it rectified. but before the next service the second shockker was leaking and I had to repair it. I have heard that HH bikes cost you more on maintenance.. bit I think this much is normal in 2 years.

Overall its really a good bike. I would certainly recommend it.

Thanks,

Sandeep Singh
