Now that Hero honda has launched a new Avtar of Extreme which looks preety good with digital speedometer, split seats, stylish tail lamp. Ride may also have been refined by HH. That is a nice bike to purchase.

I own a Pulsar 180cc UG3 and very much satisfied with its performance from past almost 3 years.

Both bikes are good. Please take a test ride before buying any bike.

I want to share my experience. I am riding Pulsar 180cc UG3 from past 2 and a half years. I am very satisfied with the performance of my bike.

I’ll Tell my experience based on your points.

ENGINE(9/10): A very refined engine to deliver best acceleration & performance. While driving up to a speed of 95 KMPH I never have any fear. Bike has a lovely firing and great rev. I could manage to reach 80 KMPH mark in just 8.30 secs.

Styling(9/10): Great style even with the same fuel tank. Tail lamps, Digital display, new fuel tank opening, wolf panel and Handle bar. It’s the first choice of Indian youth. Frankly telling, I never like CBZ Extreme looks…. Older CBZ was great but “extreme” disappointed me and a lot other guyz a lot.

ON ROAD QUALITY(9/10): On highways my bike gives great mileage and performance. It’s not the noise but the firing which kills the viewers. Handling is great. Road grip is awesome, not like earlier Pulsars. Breaking is awesome as long as you know how to use both breaks together or else you can land in a hospital or in front of God. Acceleration is more than any other bike under this session…. I’ve beaten a Karizma in a belt of 150 Meters where we both have to accelerate and stop before next signal just 150Metres away. Karizma got scared to accelerate and de-acclerated. I don't say those bikes are not better than 180 but definitely the drivers didn't know what their machines are capable of doing.

Performance(9/10): Any bike under this section doesn’t give the performance like my Pulsar 180cc UG3. Whether a highway or city roads… Pulsar rules. Once I had a small race(Around 3 KMS) with CBZ Extreme and Unicorn… Beaten both bikes by a fair distance. Broader rear tires gives break breaking quality.

BUILT QUALITY(9/10): Metal tank, All spare parts readily available and at much a cheaper cost than any other Indian bike. I have never felt to change any spare part except for my front disks(twice) which I use a lot and rear break liners(Once) in past 2 and a half years…. Disks twice because I hardly use rear breaks… I drive only on disks and rely on them. Till now I have droven over 50000 KMs and never faced any performance issues. This machine is real value for money… Till date I get 40-45 KMPL in city and over 45 KMPL on highways.

Maintainence(9/10): I've done over 50000 kms and never faced any performance issues. I am a rash driver but my bike is single handed by me till date so no issues. I just spend Rs 300- Rs 400 in every servicing once in 2 months. Not more than that. Very refined filters in this machine. Drive this bike carefully and you won’t have to spend a single extra buck on it.

Fuel Economy(10/10): Come-on guyz… How can you talk about mileage in high performance bikes…. Still by bike gives more than 40 KMPL till date in any condition.
