It's been almost an year now since I bought my CBZ Xtreme and I'm glad to confess that I've been very satisfied with it.  Prior to this, I rode Hero Honda Splendor.  I wanted a more powerful bike and I was not ready to go beyond the Hero Honda Stable.   So I zeroed in on CBZ Xtreme.

For those of you who yearn for more power, this is THE bike for you.  Trust me, no other bike zooms faster from rest (e.g. when the signal turns green) than the Xtreme.  If you ride it in the range of 40-50 kmph consistently, it'll give you a mileage of 45+ kmpl.  If you ride regularly at 60+ kmph, the average comes down to 35-40 kmpl.  So its your call:  Power or mileage, you can have both with the Xtreme.

I haven't faced any serious maintenance problem till now (touchwood!). The servicing has been good.  Right after the 1st servicing, the bike ran as if on butter.  Silk smooth.   No false neutrals anytime too.   I haven't had any cold starting problems too.  The choke works fine in case of very low temperatures.

It doesn't boast of a LCD speedo like the new Pulsar, but hey its taillight LEDs don't malfunction like the Pulsar.  Speaking of the taillight, its amazing design.  At night the brake lights shine very bright (as they should!) and the indicators are large enough to be spotted from a distance.  Their projected appearance looks like left & right arrows!  Both front & back indicators are embedded in the chasis.  Not only do they look good, there is not chance of them dangling due to any minor accident!

The only bad thing (maybe its with only my piece) is that the silencer cover got a bit of rust after the rains.  I should have done some anti-rust treatment before hand.  Not a major problem though!

All in all a great bike. Go for it with your eyes closed !  & happy riding (zoooming!)
