My Dear Friends I am Mohit and todau I am going to share my personal experience with you about cbz xtream after use of 7 long years. I bought this bike because I have very good faith in hero honda and its services and before this cbz xtream I owned cd 100ss and cbz disc brake.
I bought the cbz in the year 1998 and us ethat for 8 years and sold it after that in 2007 I bought cbz xtream and still I am using this.when I bought cbz xtream it was first model named xtream after that lots of model came with minor facelift but engine is same but if we talk about cbz and cbz xtream than old cbz has 156.6cc engine but cbz xtream has 149.9cc engine.in current model you get digital meter and dual disc as per your selection.price is 86000rs on road in ranchi, jharkhand. I ride cbz so much that I am in love with it.its power is good and its top speed is 110kmph. its a very low maintenance bike.
I ride it 40000km in 8 years and changed disc pad 3 times and do a engine oil change after every 2500km to keep the engine safe and smooth.no other thing to change.air filter changed as per company recommendation. Looks of cbz xteram is also good but current model is not looking so good.I like the old model . Seating position is good and you can go on long ride without tension.i went on long rides on it very much max 510km non stop.mileage is not great as per my opinion.company claims 50kmpl but in reality I never get more than 38kmpl in highways.complained so many times in service center but of no use.I got better mileage on old cbz which I bought in the year 1998.i got 45kmpl on that bike.so if I talk about mileage I am not satisfied but if I talk about over all performance I am satisfied.if you want to buy a bike in 150cc segment you can go for it but if your uses is below 20km per day than I recommend it other wise choose other option like honda unicorn, bajaj pulsar, tvs apache these bike will give you better mileage than cbz xtream.
