Hero Honda is the World’s largest Motorcycle manufacturing company. Hero Honda has introduced many models in the Indian market, the most popular ones being CD 100, & Splendor. Today nearly 75% Indian people prefer Hero Honda bikes to 4 stroke bikes manufactured by other manufacturers like Kawasaki-Bajaj, LML, Yamaha, TVS etc. The reasons are many, some of which are as listed below.
Hero Honda bikes are extremely sturdy in terms of engine and the frame. 4 stroke engines of some of the bikes other than Hero Honda get worn out very fast (Just after completion of 30,000-40,000 kms.)and thenafter become highly un-reliable and require a frequent maintainance. However, the 4 stroke engines those manufactured by Hero Honda remain the same as they are in a newly purchased bike even after completion of 80,000 kms. and do not require frequent maintainance even thenafter. This is because Hero Honda was the first company to introduce 4 stroke engines in India. Other manufacturers like Bajaj, Yamaha, TVS, LML etc. have simply copied Hero Honda’s technique of manufacturing 4 stroke engines, and introducing them in the market at a price lower than Hero Honda bikes. But, simply by compromising on the parts and technology used for manufacturing these engines.
Hero Honda has a wide network of dealers and service centres spread throughout India. Thus, purchasing and servicing (includes regular maintainance & repairing) of Hero Honda bikes is extremely easy and instant from anywhere in India.
Hero Honda bikes provide excellent driving comfort, especially bikes like Passion and CBZ.
Hero Honda bikes are free from ’knocking’, even when driven with wrong gears. ie. for eg. if you place a Hero Honda bike directly on 2nd gear instead of 1st, it would work without ’knocking’, whereas a slight mistake in changing gears in bikes like Bajaj Pulsar, Bajaj Calibre, LML Freedom etc. causes the engine to ’knock’ heavily, thereby causing a damage to the cylinder (Mainly because excessive air is sucked inside the cylinder when ’knocking’ happens).
CBZ is the most happening bike amongst all other bikes of Hero Honda family. It receives a hundered out of hundered in terms of its looks. The head light and tail light, side lights, fuel tank, driver and passenger seats,gear knob, handle etc. are all perfectly designed which contribute a lot towards the looks of a bike. Engine of Hero Honda CBZ is a perfect one. It has a unique combination of Pick-up, fuel efficiency, and power. Even though it is a 4 stroke engine, it has the power and pick-up of a 2 stroke engine, still fuel efficiency being that of a 4 stroke engine. The youngsters have many reasons to select Hero Honda CBZ, than any other models of Hero Honda. Some of them being mainly, 156 CC Engine, good at looks, disc brakes etc.
Some of the major disadvantages of this bike are rusting of its body parts and a great downfall in fuel efficiency if driven by a rash driver.
Though heavily priced at Rs.65,000/-(approx.), it is definitely worth it, and is all set to please its driver for many years.
