This is Sambit. Well me working in HSBC..coming to the point I own a black cbz-xtreme..it has clocked around 8000 kms..so I thought that this is the time for me to put in my view points about my bike..

Whenever we purchase a bike we see basically few factors like style, quality and reliability..well to be very frank the x-treme has all of them..to start with the style it does look great from the rear 3quarters and I am sure that there is no 150cc bike that looks better ..coming to the quality you will find the difference in the handling and performance as compared to the other bikes..and atlast the reliability factor, it comes with a hero honda brand logo which speaks more than anything..

Now taking a clear view the bike is superb in terms of initial pick up and the best thing is that it maintains the same all along the other gears..though I dint like the powertrain of the 3rd gear..lacks that taste..next to that the handling is very good in city as well as highways.I like the stability it has at high speeds but what I dont like is the vibrations that are felt sometimes via the handlebar and footpegs..coming to the fuel returns..it does provide well enough around 45-50 km/l which is far far better as compared to its predecessor..and the engine refinement is class apart..i suppose only karizma is the bike which can be better as compared to the xtreme's engine refinement levels..thats the best engine from the hero honda stable..

Now guys I am sure that this review is incomplete without a comparison of the xtreme with its rivals..well lets start counting them they are 1.Bajaj Pulsar 150 2.TVS Apache RTR 160 3.Honda  Unicorn thats all and the list is over..lets start with the pulsar..the pulsar does fair well in all the criterias but fails in terms of engine refinement and reliability...i though agree that it has added goodies like digi speedo console etc but they are not enough to compete with the xtreme..coming to the apache..thats a great performer even better than our xtreme but does have the irritating gear shifting problems that has been inherited from the original apache 150..and the tvs engines dont last long as compared to the hero honda engines..and atlast the very own honda unicorn..well this does is the most refined engine on Indian road but looses out on performance and also physical strength..the bike is frugal and is not built to push hard..thats all for today folks in the comparison chart...

So if hero honda rethinks of introducing such small goodies like digi speedo console, petal discs n most importantly a better karizma type bikini fairing the cbz-xtreme will be the undisputed king of the 150cc segment...lets keep our fingers crossed until hero honda brings into reality my dreams of building a better cbz and then lets spend to remodel our original xtremes..

That's all chalo then tata...and I hope that this review will surely help you in taking am informed decision while purchasing a 150cc bikes...ya I do admit that xtreme costs few bucks more but is yes more than worthy for spending the extra pie...byeee..lets rock in the xtreme style..
