Commuter bikes are supposed to be reliable, long lasting, easy to maintain and of course, fuel efficient. 125 cc bikes are considered as the premium category in commuter bikes. Hero Glamour belong to this category. Although this is not the best in terms of power in 125cc category, glamour is a top selling bike. This is mainly because of the comfort and the reliability factors. I own a glamour since 2014, and completed about 12000 kilometers on it. It offers riding comfort, both to the rider and the pillion. On the mileage front, it is slightly behind. The maximum mileage I got was 54 Kmpl on real world conditions. The showroom staff stated it would give about 55 Kmpl before I bought the bike. So I am not completely disappointed. The power is 9 Bhp which is lower than the other bikes such as shine, shine sp, discover 125, phoenix, ignitor etc, the engine produces a peak torque of 10.35 Nm at 4000 rpm. Since the peak torque comes in a lower rpm than the rival bikes, I think glamour is better to drive in the rural roads and moderate traffics. We can stroll through a busy road with a speed of 20 Km per hour in the top gear. That is quite impressive. The top speed is said to be 90 Kmph but I have never tried for it. I never had to face any vibrations. The bike weighs about 129 kg(kerb weight) and it is the heaviest in the 125 cc class. The bulky fuel tank gives the bike a bigger appearance. Big guys looking for a commuter bike should try Hero glamour. It suits them well. Overall glamour is an impressive bike. Lack of the fifth gear is the only issue I can think of. And also the second gear is slightly tight.

Update: I got a mileage of 58 in real conditions( part highway part traffic)
