Hemonto Kumar Mukhopaddhae or popularly known as Hemant Kumar or fondly as Hemant Da has been my earliest touch with music of any kind; I still remember those days when my mom used to listen to the All India Radio and I also never lost a chance to keep my ears firmly stuck to the radio and obviously those full moon nights when both of us used to be sleeping on the terrace in summers and humming the songs of Hemant Da.For since then Dada’s song has been my companion in all moods and times.
