I called them up more than a month ago and being convinced from what they said, and seeing the situation at that time, I asked them to come and take the registration amount of Rs. 2000/-. They said that their online payment system is not working and is under maintenance. Note that the people to whom I was talking were all sweet talkers and good in english communication.
Next day, a person came, properly dressed , even carrying an ID card. He took cash and even gave me a receipt for the amount. He said that they will arrange for a full time maid, as promised by Roopa, with whom I had talked on phone. I was feeling good that we will get a new maid in a week's time. At the end of the week there was no communication from help@home. I called them up. Roopa told that they have identified a person and verification is going on and asked for 2 days more time. I said ok. Again no communication from their side. After multiple attempts, I was able to connect to someone who told that the staff has gone out for some outing. Like that, time passed. Repeated calls were made for a month without any results.At the end of a month, I called up again only to get my money back, as I had made arrangements for myself by that time. They cannot expect me to wait for a month for getting their help.
I asked them to return my money back. Now suddenly the person on other side, their manager, seemed to have got a maid identified and told that a maid is available immediately and he can bring her, today itself. How strange, suddenly they got a maid identified and verified !!!!. That too, when I called them up. They never ever called me up from their side for any information or updation.
I straightaway rejected that when they are so unprofessional , how can a person provided by them can be trusted. Then he became very rude and said that registration amount cannot be refunded. I told him, I will complain in consumer court and all. He said, that is your wish. So, end of the story - I lost my money and valuable time, with no results. Keep away from them as much as possible.
