Its a very well known saying that "We should eat to live and not live to eat."

Dieting is all about following this. Our body is a machine which needs energy to run. As its said that "Excess of everything is bad", excess of energy is also bad for our body.

Energy cannot be created, we all know this. It can only be changed from one form to another.

So, we should consume right type of energy so that it gets converted into another right type to help enhance body's efficiency without leading to its malfunctioning.

In our day-to-day life, we come across a lot of edible things. Many of them are tempting, rest are healthy:)

Well, this reminds me of another saying again: "All that glitters is not gold".

This can be reframed as "All that tempts is not healthy"

So, we need to follow these DO's and DONT's to lead a fit and healthy life:

  1. DOs

-

-> exercise regularly.

-> add fiberous contents to your diet like salad, fruits, juices.

-> drink 2 litres of water daily.

-> move yourself by doing household work, etc.

-> take a diet which suits your body type, I mean your metabolism.

-> take a gap of 3 hours between your dinner and sleep.

  1. DONTs

-

-> take empty calories in excess like soda, cold drinks, etc.

-> sleep less than 6 hours a day.

-> keep your stomach empty for more than 3 hours.

-> exercise just after having a meal.

-> skip a meal.

-> have more than 5 meals a day, 2 of which should only be fruits and vegetables.

Experience the difference!
