Beware! As soon as you log in to their site, you will get a call from their support to assist you with the order.(Usha is the name all of them use. Or there are atleast 20 Ushas in Healthgenie).


In my case Usha made me purchase an order which was out of stock(I was told the product is available) and this is where the turmoil started. After patiently waiting for the order for next 2 days, I realized there was something wrong. On my first few queries, I was requested to give them couple of more days for the order as it got stuck in some warehouse. I knew they were lying but I thought what the hell. 4 days delay should not be a problem.


So after 2 days I called them and realized they were never able to source the product and chose not to inform me. That's when I requested them to cancel my order and snap. the agent disconnected. I called 4 times the same day and the moment I uttered Cancel on the call, they all disconnected. So after 8 days of constant pain one gentlemanly agent transferred my call to Carlton, their supervisor, who apologized, assured and promised to call back in 10 minutes with my cancellation ID and refund details.


After waiting for couple of hours when I called and spoke to Carlton, Carlton refused to acknowledged the conversation we had few hours back(It was a 20 minutes discussion, Mind you. Unless he was suffering from short term memory loss, there was no way he could forget the conversation). This time he double promised, double assured and double guaranteed that the refund will hit my account in 10 minutes and bid adieu.


Take a guess on what happened next? No freaking refund. When I called back, Carlton had left early for the day and the agent was also wrapping up he said. When I questioned that the support time on the site says 9am-9pm, why is everyone wrapping up at 7.30, the agent skipped a beat! His reply was "Sir hum to hamesha se support 8 baje band karte hai, 9 baje tak kon kaam karta hai yaha". I didn't know how to react on this.


Its been 10 days and I am yet to receive a mail or call intimating me about the delay or cancellation(or if I am allowed to be optimistic, my goddamn money!)


Moral: Don't try to cheap out on those 50 bucks price difference between healthkart and healthgenie. You know what healthkart and other sites charge those extra 50 bucks for? SERVICE. 'THIS GENIE WILL ONLY LET YOU DOWN'
