I placed an order on HealthKart for two boxes of True Elements Spearmint Infusion Tea in Dec 2015. When they came, the outer box was in good condition and the two boxes were separately packed in transparent cellophane paper(from the manufacturer itself). So, all looked good and I kept the product. I opened one box for consumption and kept the other one in spare. The first box had no problem.
In March 2016 I opened the second box which was double sealed and found lots of tiny brown insects in it! What a horror!
There was a sticker placed on top that said packing date was Sept 2015 and the actual box said expiry is 12 months from packing. So, it would be in Sept 2016. But in 3 months only there were insects crawling in the box! And HealthKart refused to help even though I wrote so many mails and sent so many pictures to them. They kept saying they have 14 day return period which expired. So, they an't take it back.
My advice is to never buy anything from the site. I had purchased products earlier from the site.I had always wondered why HealthKart puts an additional sticker on top that mentions packing date and expiry and some products never come in their boxes. Only the bottle comes with HealthKart's sticker on it. I suspect they sell expired or fake products to their customers. So, be careful. Skip this site. They sell fake, adulterated products and the customer care person kept saying we can't help you.stay healthy". Your health is at risk at HealthKart.com.
