Folks I am here once again with a new story& place(do I look like SINDBAD' the car driver). Usually, when I plan to write about something in my REVIEW it ends in a diary....kyoki then I prefer to write the whole A_ZEE...OK here we go..
Aakash patel from Rajkot(RAJKOT IN GUJRAT IS FAMOUS FOR ITS CASTING & HOME MADE ICE CREAMS). He is my customer, buys hoses from me, ...So he called me & asked khalid bhai how far is Ludhiana from Delhi and if I come then how to reach there..My answer to him was, its around 275/300kms from DELHI..& what do you mean hw ll' you go?
MAI HU NA..HIHIHI...( if you don't take care of your customer , someone else will). So after two days he came to Delhi..& next day in the morning we started our cruise towards Ludhiana...
We started early in the morning in order to avoid the peek hour rush of the city & its suburbs....after two hours of driving we stopped at MURTHAL...this place comes before PANIPAT(Panipat is famous for itz power looms, for furnishing & bed linens)..& Murthal for its stuffed pranthas, this place serves fabulous pranthas with curd or pickles & tea....
We reached Ludhiana at around 12:30pm..as we had car with us we finished our task of meeting our suppliers in Ludhiana swiftly(Ludhiana is the biggest supplier of the lathe machine turned components in India)..
It was around 5:45pm & we had not eaten anything till that time, I asked one autowala about good food & he was like.. bauji achcha khana chaida hai te, dur jana paoga(sir if you want to eat good , you ve'to go far)..how far??? was my next question & coolly he said JALANDHAR(another city of PUNJAB STATE)& it is 45 kms from Ludhiana...
Khalid bhai rene dete hai Aakash bhai ne kaha tha.....kyo khana khayege vanhi...I had said. CHOKRO GANDO THAI GAYO ( man/boy has gone mad ) this is what Aakash bhai had rewarded me with....lol. 375.00 rupees was the entry fee per person......dhoom dhoom lak lak, dhoomdhoom lak lak..this is how we were greeted the moment we steped in , it was the nagara beats..Wellcome in Punjab..Right in front of us, the mutiare (village teens girls) were dancing & singing on their way to the well & after that there were girls talking amongst themselves sitting on the ledge of the well..& ohh what was that???? Horse went passed us at hurricane speed.
Oh it was a hunter chaseing a DEER..we kept on walking thru the field..& we had reached the chaupal (centre most place in village, where old folks of the village use to sit)....KIDS waiting for their turn on MERRY GO ROUND, jat gabru ( young man ) heading towards field with plough & their cows...where are we???? was the question we asked ourselves..Belive me friends it was all happening in front of our eyes & was mesmerize...
Gaon(village) ki badi haweli ki khirki(window) par bethi wo apne fouji ka inteezar kar rahi thi(Girl waiting for her man a soldier to come back home)..subedar saheb ka platoon sandook(box)..aur his riffel. GAON KA HAAT( VILLAGE MARKET ) GHUMA HAMNE AUR WE REACHED THE KHANA KHAJANA ( THE FOOD COURT )..At the gate with a 6 ft"batton in his hands, asix & a half feet tall gabru jat had opened the gate for us..& wow....what smell, what aroma...taambe (copper) ke bartano me saji MAKKE KI ROTI AUR SARSO KA SAAG, boondi ka raita sirke wali kande (onion) dal makhani aur aaloo methi sath me lachhe paranthe chawal rajma....bus aur nai muah me pani aa raha hai...we ate like dn ask how....like hihi..khana ke bad they served us matke wali kulfi & kheer....( 375.00 INR...IS NOTHING FOR THAT WONDERFULL FOOD & THE EXPERIENCE )
Aaye Baithe Khaye Piye Khiske...hum bhi ye hi soch rahe the ( we were planing on moving out fast as we had eaten & had enjoyed mouthfull )...
To our surprise abhi it was not over the moment we made our exit from khana khajana the other side was a girl trying to woo her man..singing & pleeding to him that please do not go I Love you a lot and my love is true & pure...Yes it was the live performance by the local artists and was wonderfully, , , , yar we could not move from there...lovely act..you ll" forget all the woods....bolly.jolly, tolly or hollywood.. So folks this way I visited that place & I am thankful to Aakash bhai...wo na aate to mai kaise jaata..MOUTHSHUT ME BHI KISI NE REVIEW NAI DIYA...LOL
